Sunflower

Sunflower (Helianthus annuuss) is one of the oilseed crops most widely cultivated in the world. In 2019, world production amounted to more than 56 million tons (FAOSTAT, 2021). The crop is affected by several viral pathogens, which, in some cases, may become limiting factors for production and export.
