Estudio de la fertilidad de los suelos y nutrición mineral de la fresa en la Isla de Tenerife
The soil fertility and the mineral nutrition of the strawberry in the island of Teneriffe is studied. The soil textures are sultable for this plant, as also are the levels of available Ca, Mg$ K and P and thr conductivity of the saturated extract. There is a significantly high difference in the proportion of dry matter between the samples from the southern zone of a dry and warm climate, and those of the northern zone of a humid and cooler climate. The average foliar N values are close to the critical level, while the average P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu values are always above the corresponding critical level. A multiple negative correlations between the foliar micronutrients Fe, Cu Mn and Zn and the soil Ca and Mg is found in the soil plant relations.
