The main activities carried out by the Institute in Barbados are identified, during the period from 2010 to 2017, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as agrotourism, good agricultural practices, trade, rabbit farming, innovation, horticulture. , organic agriculture, use of greenhouses, resilience against climate change, food and nutritional security, health and food safety. Likewise, technology transfer was provided for youth and women and their inclusion, as well as work on family gardens, legislation, protocols and access to water. Finally, support was provided for the sheep production chain and for breeding and artificial insemination.
