Challenges and opportunities for the development of the NAMAs in the livestock sector in Colombia and Costa Rica

Livestock NAMAs seek to transform livestock production in Colombia and Costa Rica.  To achieve proposed climate action and food security goals, it is necessary to overcome barriers and take advantage of the opportunities in the livestock sector.  There is increasing demand in the market of better quality beef and milk; implementation of NAMAs is the first step to reach new markets.
