Efeito de filtrado de cultura de Cladobotryum amazonense sobre Crinipellis perniciosa (Stahel) Singer e outros patógenos :

The antibiotic activity of the culture filtrate from Cladobotryum amazonense on different pathogens associated with the diseases of cacao and other crops was determined in vitro and in vivo. The tests undertaken in vitro showed that the filtrate completely inhibited spore germination of Crinipellis perniciosa (Stahel) Singer, Microcyclus ulei (P. Henn.) v. Arx, Hemileia vastatrix Berk. & Br. and growth of other fungi and of the bacterium Pseudomonas solanacearum Smith. It was noted that the compound is heat stable, retaining its activity after being autoclaved. In vivo, the filtrate showed a protective effect on fruit infection against C. perniciosa without causing toxicity.
