Saint Lucia. Significant achievements 2010-2017

The main activities carried out by the Institute in Saint Lucia are identified, during the period from 2010 to 2017, with respect to the needs and interests of the country, strengthening issues such as beekeeping, biosecurity, sustainability, nutrition, new technologies, agriculture organic farming, irrigation systems, climate change resilience, soil management, leadership, and food safety and sanitation. Likewise, work was done on fodder, financing, production chains for honey, pineapple and ruminants, packaging and labeling. Finally, technical assistance was provided to women and youth for their inclusion in agriculture.
