EVALUATION OF TEACHING COMPETENCES IN THE TEACHING OF MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS AT HIGHER LEVEL, BASED ON THE INTERPRETATIVE ARGUMENT OF MICHAEL T. KANE

The high rate of failure in Mathematics and Statistics motivated us to present a teaching method based on the future professions that students will have to perform. This is what the interpretive argument is about. The working groups were represented by three groups   at the Bachelor's level and two at the graduate level. The study was divided into three phases: Design, Validation and Analysis. Finally, two competency evaluations were carried out: the self-evaluation of teaching competences and the evaluation of student competences whose results were favorable in both groups.
