Pregnancy hypertensive states: review

Hypertensive disease in pregnancy is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality. The following review aims to give an overview of its pathophysiology in the light of molecular biology, to analyze the risk factors based on the evidence, diagnosis and management according to national and international guidelines allows us to have an updated view of a common pathology for specialist and the general practitioner. The authors wish that this document will be useful in medical practice.
