Brief historical review of mammozoological research in the department of Cauca, Colombia
We present a historical synthesis of the research carried out with mammals in the department of Cauca. In this the main expeditions, collectors and naturalists that visited the region are indicated. Likewise, a list of publications related to the subject and the investigations carried out and in progress is added.
