Estudios citológicos en tres especies del género Monnina

Lozzia, María E.; Aldo R. Andrada & María E. Cristóbal. 2007. “Cytological studies in three species of genus Monnina”. Lilloa 44 (1-2). Monnina is an american genus. In Argentina, it consist of eleven species. Meiotic chromosomes of three species from the Norwest of Argentina which belong to an Andean ecosystem were analized. A cytotype of M. dictyocarpa Griseb. n=10 chromosomes was informed so as the meiotic recounts of M. wrightii A. Gray n=9 chromosomes, and M. lorentziana Chodat n=10 chromosomes. This last one is known as a first time. Results have been discuted respect of they were polyploids with two basic numbers, x=5 and x=10.
