Geophysical geological section between El Estanquito and Puerto del Valle?. The area under study is located in the central-eastern sector of the Capital Department, 30 km from the city of La Rioja (Argentina). Within the framework of a hydrogeological work with regional characteristics, the geophysical prospecting aimed at locating those areas with subsoil geological conditions favorable for the construction of exploration drilling was foreseen as an initial stage. For this purpose, a work program was developed that included the execution of vertical electrical soundings on Provincial Route No. 6.
