Repuesta del pepino (Cucumis sativus L.) a seis soluciones nutritivas

The purpose of the present work was to determine the response of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) to six nutritive solutions, by the subirrigation method utilizing gravel as supporting material, in order to gather date for subsequent investigation and employment of this system for commercial production.A compilation of date was made on the technique used in this particular system, incluiding a series of reviews on plant physiology for mineral nutrition. The solutions named California and Purdue showed significent statiscally yields for a probability of 99% in relation to the other treatments with yields of 20.795 and 19.372 kgr/m2, respectivily. For a probability of 95%, the Shell solution showed a significant response with a yield of 17.41. The lowest yield was a recorded for the Lago solution (14.930).
