Characterization of marketing and consumption patterns of Feijoa sellowiana in Boyaca

Due to its geographics location, Colombia has important comparative advantages for fruit production. An important increase in fruit prodution has been noticed un Boyacá, duringthe past years, specially of caducifolious and others like feijoa wich have had a large acceptance in the regional and nationalmarkets. Some studies have been conducted with feijoa regarding production and marketing. No studies have been conducted regarding comsumption, wich leads to unknowthe consumer characteristics (profile). The presents study pretends to focus on those relevant aspects of marketing and consumtion of this important fruit specie.
