Capítulo XIII: análisis genético del carácter peso promedio de fruto y sus componentes en un cruzamiento dialélico entre cultivares de tomate, Lycopersicon esculentum Mill

Genetic analysis for mean weight of fruits, locules per fruit and mean weight of locules characters was carried out using a diallel crossing between six tomato cultivars (Motelle, Angela 1-1500, Olho Roxo, Raminho, Licapal21 y Zambao). Was made a genetic-statistic analysis using the methodology developed by Hayrnan (l954a, 1954b). There was not evidence of epistasis in any of characters studied and the experimental data are adjusted to the additive-dominant model. Additive gene action and non-additive gene action participated jointly and high1y significant manner in the mean weight of fruits, locules per fruit and mean weight of locules characters expression. It is detected the presence of incomplete dominance in mean weight of fruits and mean weight of locules characters and sobredominance in locules per fruit character. The mean weight of fruits and mean weight of locules characters were increased for the presence of recessive alleles, predominantly. The locules per fruit character was increased for the presence of dominant alleles, predominantly.
