DECISION OF THE MEETING - Seventeenth Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean and its Protocols; Regional Plan on the reduction of BOD5 in the food sector in the framework of the implementation of Article 15 of the LBS Protocol
Adopt the Regional Plan on the reduction of BOD5 in the food sector; Requested the Contracting Parties to ensure its proper implementation, with support from the Secretariat. Specific value targets are set out in the Plan and guidelines for the reduction of wastewater volume and pollution load are provided.
