Paris Declaration -Seventeenth Ordinary Meeting of the Contracting Parties to the Convention for the Protection of the Marine Environment and the Coastal Region of the Mediterranean and its Protocols
Commit to take all the necessary measures to make the Mediterranean a clean, healthy and productive sea with conserved biodiversity and ecosystems, and strengthen the integrated coastal management. Further commit to provide a strong Mediterranean input into the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in 2012 and ensure a transparent, effective and enhanced institutional governance of MAP.
