Carcinoma de células en anillo de sello primario de cérvix. Reporte de caso con revisión de literatura

Resumen Primary signet ring cell carcinoma of the cervix is extremely rare, with 24 cases reported in the literature at the time of our review. Treatment and prognosis vary considerably between carcinomas of metastatic and primary origin of the cervix. The key point in the diagnosis of this histology lies in ruling out the metastatic origin of the lesion. Imaging studies allow to rule out suspicious sites of tumor activity, however, only the histopathological study and immunohistochemical markers can rule out an extrauterine origin.
