Descripción de los hábitos alimentarios de Aspidoscelis gularis (Sauria: Teiidae), durante la temporada de lluvias en el sureste de Querétaro, México

Abstract: We assessed the food habits of adult males and females of Aspidoscelis gularis during the rainy season from a location in the municipality of San Joaquin, in the southeastern region of the state of Querétaro, Mexico. The items most consumed by both sexes were termites, and less frequently adult beetles, and cockroaches. These data reveal that in the rainy season these prey are most abundant, and the resource most consumed by both sexes, revealing a high degree of alimentary overlap between males and females.
