NR 19. Evaluation to consumption an de quality of milk in crossbred median production dairy cows at different level of suplementation with brewers wet grains

A trial was carried out with twelve crossbred Holstein cows, analyzed under a latin square switch back design 4 x 4, where the cows formed four groups, with four periods of evaluation; each period consisted of three weeks. All the groups grazied on Brachiaria humidicola. The variation was produced in the supplementation, with four rations (A: 2.0 kg brewers wet grains, (B.W.G.), B: 2.5 kg from balanced commercial food (B.C.F.), C: 9.0 kg from B.W.G. and D: 18.0 kg B.W.G.); during each period the groups changed of ration. The parameters evaluated during the trial were, consumption and milk quality. The nutricional analysis reported a lack of protein in the pasturage, and a higher level of protein from the B.W.G. than in the B.C.F. The dry matter consumption reflected differences highly significant (P < .01), observing higher consumption resulted from a higher offer of supplement, indicating that one was reflecting a low grass intake, due to the low nutritional state of this. The parameters of milk quality didnot introduce significantly differences between the rations.
