The attitude of Guyanese students to their schooling at the secondary level

This paper reports on an investigation of the kind of attitude brought to their studies at school by Guyanese secondary school students, and whether this entering behavior was the major determinant of the relatively poor performance of Guyanese students at local and external examinations, as well as at school work generally.
