Caricom Presents Pan To United Nations
The Caribbean Community (Caricom) presents the gift of a steelpan to the United Nations in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the world body. The presentation of the chrome-plated tenor pan will take place at UN headquarters and the idea of making a collective gift to the UN was suggested by Barbados' Prime Minister Owen Arthur.
