Britain,France and the European Commission are pushing hard to break am embarrassing deadlock on the community’s banana import regime. This will depend largely on the Dutch and Belgian ministers decision to change their minds - Shada Islam reports. John Bell, CEO Caribbean Hotel Association has criticized the region’s desperate aviation structure and says it’s on the edge of a catastrophe with very little control over the Caribbean’s air access and failing Caribbean airlines. Journalist Graham Todd shares his sentiments based on the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) report highlighting the potential danger of the Caribbean region becoming too dependent on American and European carriers in its two key markets of North America, Canada and the European countries.
