Progress report on the implementation of the Mar del Plata Plan of Action in Africa (1978-1984)
This report reviews progress in the Africa region in the attainment of the goal's and objectives of the Mar del Plata Action Plan (MPA?) which was adopted by the United Nations'Water'Conference in 1977. In the Africa context with the majority of its population Iscking clean drinking water, it is particularly concerned 'with the International Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Decade (IDWSSD) which was a major component of the MPAF, It analyses and comments upon the replies to the Secretary-Generals questionnaire which was sent to countries on 1 November 1963.
