Plantas transgênicas e a microbiota do solo.

ABSTRACT: Soil micro-organisms represent a key hole in the nutrient cycle and in the maintenance of the fertility, besides execute another variety of important functions for the plants and the environment. With the possibility of the transgenic crops to cause negative impacts on the soil microbial communities, emerge the necessity to deep evaluate the real extensions of these impacts. In such case, this document presents some discussions about the interactions between transgenic plants and soil micro-organisms, showing results from different studies conducted by many reseachers in the world and focusing in the evaluated parameters and the methodologies utilised to analyse the microbial communities.
