BRS Rosa: nova cultivar de soja precoce para Goiás e Distrito Federal.

ABSTRACT: Until now there are few early soybean cultivars with adequated characteristics of productivity and plant height available to the economical soybean crop in the Cerrado Region. The yearly cultivars, besides to permit a better farm planning for planting and harvesting, thy also allow the use of no-tillage technique with two crop systems such as soybean before corn, sorghum or sunflower. BRS Rosa is a early cultivar (112 days of cicle) originated from the cross between FT Guaira X FT Estrela, resulting from a group work including Embrapa Cerrados, Embrapa Soja plus a significant finantial support of Cerrados Fundation. In the final testes to cultivars releasing, BRS Rosa was superior then the test cultivars such as FT 2000 and Emgopa 316. This cultivar is recommended to be cropped in Cerrado fertile soils of Goias State and Federal District.
