Proceedings of the eighth asian regional maize workshop: new technologies for the new millennium
This is the proceedings of the Eighth Asian Regional Maize Workshop, held in Bangkok, Thailand, during 5-8 August 2002, and co-sponsored by International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center, the Department of Agriculture of Thailand, and Kasetsart University, Thailand. The theme of the workshop was "New Technologies and Technology Delivery Systems for the New Millennium," and more than 150 participants from Asia and invited speakers from Latin America and Africa attended. Papers in the proceedings deal with molecular tools for maize improvement, genetics and breeding, crop management, biotic and abiotic stresses affecting maize, technology adoption and dissemination, and country reports.
