Including dietary concerns in on-farm research: an example from Imbabura, Ecuador

The results of a qualitative dietary survey carried out in Imbabura, Ecuador, are described. Attention is given to the application of this; information to the planning of on-farm experimentation for the same region. Conclusions are drawn with respect to appropriate methods for collecting dietary data useful to on-farm research.
