Jamaica's farmers get new information centre
Farmers get new information centre , Jamaica Gleaner, February 2001 A new information centre for farmers has been set up to provide support services for members of the Manchester and St Elizabeth Vegetable Growers´ Association. The Flagaman Agricultural Information Centre will provide information on what to plant, when to plant, how to plant various crops, the use of pesticides and fertilisers, as well as post harvest technology. This will be a one-stop shop for farmers, where they will be able to access the centre´s website for information on market trends.
