Development dialogue is a newly-launched monthly publication produced by the Southern African Development Coordination Conference (SADCC). The newspaper aims to act as a watchdog and medium of information on development activities being spear-headed by NGOs and other development agencies within the 10-state SADCC region. The first volume appeared in July/August 1991 and its contents included subjects as diverse as research for bilharzia control; adapting to peace in Angola; low-cost housing for term workers; new tree-planting initiatives; finding gold in caves and the politics of print or mass media. The Editor, Maxwell Chivasa Box 5725, Harare, ZIMBABWE
