Climate change and livestock keepers in developing countries: What are the prospects?

This paper considers the possible impacts of climate change on livelihoods in sub-Saharan Africa. It examines in particular the impact of increased climate variability on the livestock assets of pastoralists. The paper concludes with a summary of some of the options for dealing with these types of changes in the future.
