Accessing and using seasonal forecasts through digital platforms has improved the livelihood of 363,000 men and 137,000 women farmers and fisherfolks in across Senegal.

Impact evaluation revealed that the use of seasonal forecast by 363,000 men and 137,000 women farmers increased major crops' productivity and farm profitability in Senegal. Millet and rice yields increased by 22% and 19% respectively from using seasonal forecast information in farm management decisions. Aggregate farm profits increased income by 15% on average with 23% increase among men and 5% among women that used seasonal forecasts, implying differential incremental incomes of $56 and $11 for men and women respectively.
