Acción de los reguladores de crecimiento sobre los niveles de proteínas y aminoácidos en soya (Glycine max cv. Davis)

This research dealt with the effects of (2-chloroethyl) trimethylammonium chloride (CCC) at a concentration of.2 000 ppm, succinic acid-2, 2-dimethylhydrazide (SADH) 4 000 ppm, gibbere!lic acid (GA) 100 ppm, and indolylacetic acid (lAA) 100 Ppm applied to soybean (Glycine max) plants, under greenhouse conditions, on the protein and aminoacid level of the seeds. Growth regulators were sprayed on leaves 21 days old and the seeds were harvested 118 days after planting. Protein levels were estimated determining total nitrogen by the micro-Kjeldelhl method multiplied by 6.2.5. Aminoacids were determined in the automatic aminoacid analyser Beckman 120C. A completely randomized design was used and the differences were analyzed by Tukey's test at 5% level of probability. Spraying with CCC increased protein levels in seeds. The growth regulators did not promote changes in aminoacid levels in "Davis" soybean seeds.
