Influencia del intercambio térmico a través del fondo marino en el régimen de temperatura de zonas costeras

The solution of the hydrodynamic problems with the MECA (Model For Estuarine and Coastal Circulation Assessment) model requires the determination of thermical boundary conditions at the bottom. The authors have carried out an estimation of the possibilities of utilization of several boundary conditions at the bottom. In particular formulation of coupled model for thermical interaction between the sediment and water column is discussed. Results of this work show a practical equivalence between the first type boundary condition and the coupled problem for the shallow water dynamics.
