Análise de variantes no Éxon-1 do gene miostatina em caprinos.
Resumo: A identificação de variações alélicas no gene da miostatina (GDF-8), relacionado ao crescimento e desenvolvimento da carne nos animais, pode ser utilizado para a seleção assistida por marcadores moleculares com a finalidade de obter uma resposta rápida ao que se refere a genética caprina. Nesse estudo, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura reunindo estudos referentes às metodologias e aplicação dos marcadores moleculares com estudos em animais de produção, como também avaliou-se as mutações do éxon 1 desse gene nas raças caprinas Azul, Anglo-Nubiano e Canindé. Abstract: The identification of allelic variations in the myostatin gene (GDF-8), related to the growth and development of meat in animals, could be usefull for selection assisted by molecular markers in order to obtain a rapid response to what refers to goat genetics. In this study, a systematic literature review was carried out, bringing together studies related to the methodologies and application of molecular markers with studies in farm animals, as well as the mutations of exon 1 of this gene in Azul, Anglo-Nubian and Canindé goat breeds.
