The author presents phenological observations of 27 Campina woody species in the Campina Biological Reserve - INPA, 60 Km on north of Manaus, during the period of August/77 to July/86. The majority of species presented complete flowering during dry season. This behavior was presented also by Shaded campina species. In transition of Shade campina to Opened campina there was a tendency of complet flowering either during dry or wet season. The Opened campina species presented this phenophase during wet season and during the transition to dry season. The transition species and those of Opened campina have show different behaviors in comparison with the majority woody species of the tropical rain forest. It was determined twelve species with annual flowering; three species was flowering regularly during all the months, every year eight species had two flowering in the same year species had irregular flowering and only one species flowered in intervals of three years. Twenty species presented perennial leaves, apparently without change of leaves. It was done an analyse of the Principal Components to complete flowering, mature fruits and new leaves. The axis 1, 2 and 3 represented complete flowering, new leaves and mature fruits, respectively. Through the correlation circles it was verified two different periods to these phases in dry and wet seasons. According to the plane representation in the axis it was determined species in opposition and with similar behavior in reference to the phases analyzed.
