The Norwegian recommendations for nutrient requirements are based on observations from ordinary feeding experiments running 2 to 12 months. At 1 ½ years of age goats should have reached 75 percent of full-grown weight (40 kg for the Norwegian breed). Feeding standards are presented in accordance with that goal
