Project document Strengthening agricultural quarantine services in the caribbean
The main purpose of the Project is to strenghten and upgrade the services and systems of the national animal and plant health services of CARIFORUM countries so that they comply with the SPS Agreement of the WTO and with Free Trade Areas of the Americas (FTAA) requirements. In fulfilling this purpose, the Project will contribute to the countries' efforts to increase agricultural productivity as well as trade in agricultural commodities.
