Engendering sustainability in an agro-tourism strategy for development

Official support is necessary for promoting a national understanding of development issues and building national consensus around agreed development strategies. Eight years after the Rio conference on environment and development, it is instructive that such questions still need to be posed and that contextual frameworks for national action on sustainable develpment still need to be explored and articulated
