This book is a product of the project "Increasing Agricultural Production through the use of Natural, Environmentally-Friendly Pesticides", the objetive of this project was to investigate the use of local plants and plant products for crop protection purposes. The book has 6 chapters, it presents and discusses the concepts and practical methodologies used in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), supports this by examine ways of integrating control efforts against some common pests in Guyana, highlights Guyana's botanical diversity, takes a detailed look at synthetic insecticides and discusses their responsible management
