Technology assessment by farmers
The paper is based on the experience of a dual-purpose cattle project in Guatemala: the concepts and techniques set forth were developed primarily during the validation and transfer stages. It has two objectives: to underscore the importance of this activity and to share the experience acquired in Guatemala within this framework of dual-purpose cattle production systems
