Paternity analysis by exclusion in Theobroma cacao L. based on microsatellites markers

The objetive of this work was to determine paternity within four possible parents, based on 20 plants of the populations. Four accessions were used with seven clones used as control. There microsatellite primers were used in the total of ten alleles. The data were coded based on size of fragments and the method used was the exclusion of possible parents. It was possible to identify the possible parent that originated the population.
