Actividad estrogénica de cuatro variedades de trébol (Trifolium sp.) asociados a gramíneas y reconocimiento de isoflavonas en T. repens var. Ladino

Estrogen activity in lbw- varieties of clover alone or in association with grasses in the Bogota Savannah in the Andean highlands at an altitude of 2 600 masl was measured by comparing radioactive estradiol by receivers. Estrogen levels increased dramatically with plant age for the two varieties of clover-Triel and Levezou. In white and red clover considered native, estrogen levels varied with age, but with no marked tendency to increase or decrease. The general average for the cloven was far below that of introduced varieties (P<0.01). The average for red clover was greater (P<0.05) than for Aire. There was no evident effect of the association with grasses (P> 0.05) for any variety for white.
