The development of plants of Swietenia macrophylla King: Meliaceae
Seeds of Swietenia macrophylla were collected from trees in San Pedro de Turrubares, Costa Rica, and greenhouse studies carried out on their germination and seedling development. Germination was 68 percent. A brief account is given of the development of the plants over 190 days.
