Matisia tinamastiana (Bombacaceae): a new tree species from the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica
A botanical description is given of Matisia tinamastiana sp. nov., an emergent tropical forest tree to 40 m tall from Costa Rica. Details are included of its taxonomic affinities, diagnostic characteristics, habitat and distribution and conservationstatus.
