Smallholder perceptions of agroforestry projects in Panama
The opinion and level of acceptability of agroforestry systems among smallholders have received little attention in project evaluations. In this study, we surveyed farmers'and experts' perceptions of the socioeconomic and environmental impact of five agroforestry projects in Panama, and examined the prevailing obstacles to their increased adoption of such systems.
