El sistema monetario internacional ante los retos del mundo actual

The article refers to the international economic structure based on Bretton Woods Agreements, whose authorship is attributed to the United States, which thus imposed its hegemonic power since 1944. However, the fall of that economic system has forced theorists and politicians to rethink new forms of interaction in this area, particularly from recurring crises that have been submitted in recent years. The author analyzes in this work the main reasons that there are currently serious intent to reform the international monetary system and the challenges it represents the possibility of change, linking with the lack of a clear global hegemony which holds the leadership.
