Avances y aportaciones sobre teoría de Relaciones Internacionales

The article presents the most relevant topics that have been present in the discussions on theory of International Relations in the last 35 years, particularly in the context of the community of the School of Political and Social Sciences of UNAM. Through a review of the historical events that occurred during that period, the author highlights some of the turning points that have shaped the study of the discipline in our country. In consequence, she provides a list of the most significant works that have been published in this journal on theoretical issues and addresses developments that this specialty has had in the professional field. Finally, the article refers to the characteristics of the Mexican School of International Relations and its location over other schools of thought.
