Avances y aportaciones sobre teoría de Relaciones Internacionales
The article presents the most relevant topics that have been present in the discussions on theory of International Relations in the last 35 years, particularly in the context of the community of the School of Political and Social Sciences of UNAM. Through a review of the historical events that occurred during that period, the author highlights some of the turning points that have shaped the study of the discipline in our country. In consequence, she provides a list of the most significant works that have been published in this journal on theoretical issues and addresses developments that this specialty has had in the professional field. Finally, the article refers to the characteristics of the Mexican School of International Relations and its location over other schools of thought.

El artículo presenta los tópicos más relevantes que han estado presentes en las discusiones sobre teoría de Relaciones Internacionales en los últimos 35 años, particularmente en el contexto de la comunidad de estudiosos de la Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociales de la UNAM. A través de una revisión de los hechos históricos acontecidos durante dicho periodo, la autora destaca algunos de los puntos de inflexión que han moldeado el estudio de la disciplina en nuestro país. Para tal efecto, proporciona una relación de los trabajos más significativos que han sido publicados en esta revista sobre cuestiones teóricas y aborda la evolución que en el ámbito profesional ha tenido esta especialidad, enfatizando el lugar que ocupan hoy día los egresados de esta carrera como analistas de realidades locales, nacionales, regionales e internacionales. Finalmente, se refiere a las características de la escuela mexicana de Relaciones Internacionales y su ubicación respecto a otras corrientes de pensamiento.
