Were presented testimonies on the use of plants with curative or nutritional value properties were presented in recreation environments. In order to claim part of our intangible cultural heritage, this knowledge was transferred to the entire community, thanks to the multiplier effect of teachers and students. Through different activities, socio-cultural processes through were revitalized the collective construction and intergenerational exchange of popular knowledge and practices associated with the use and exploitation of plants, thus promoting the conservation of local cultural heritage. The results of the surveys showed the existence of a possible communication gap in the transmission of knowledge between older and younger adults. Finally, we emphasize that the reflection on extension practices shows an important social function and constitutes a formative process integrating university-society.
