Anaspasis penai n. sp. (Col. Elateridae)
The author describes the new species Anaspasis penai from Chile and places the genus next to Geranus Sharp and Protelater Sharp in the subfamily Elaterinae in the hope, as soon as he receives material from these New Zealand species, to establish a precise definition of the systematic position of these peculiar Elaterids.
